2014 ReSAKSS Annual Conference: Promoting Agricultural Trade to Enhance Resilience

August 8, 2014 by lzseleczky

The upcoming Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) 2014 Annual Conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, donors, advocacy groups, farmers’ organizations, and the private sector to review progress in supporting evidence-based policy planning and implementation under the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). Conference delegates will also discuss findings of the 2013 Africawide Annual Trends and Outlook Report which tracks progress against key CAADP indicators and takes a comprehensive look at how agricultural trade can enhance resilience of the poor and vulnerable.

The conference is being organized by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC) and NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency. It will take place at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 8-10 October, 2014.
