The Hunger Project invites 2020 Conference Participants to see resilience-in-action at the Debre Lebanos epicenter in Ethiopia – one of 120 epicenters across Africa, mobilizing nearly 2 million Africans in a process of gender-focused, integrated rural development.

An epicenter is a cluster of villages that run their own demonstration farm, food bank, food processing, microfinance facility, pre-schools, clinics and literacy programs – all co-located at an L-Shaped facility built by the people themselves.

The trip will run from 8am to 5pm on May 14, 2014. Conference participants may reserve a place on the bus by emailing john.coonrod@thp.org. Learn more at www.thp.org/epicenter.
